My Grandpa Tanner went home to be with Jesus this past week. In January, we found out that he had a terminal illness and a few weeks ago we knew the end was most likely very near. In his final hours he was in his house and surrounded by several of his children. We're thankful for Grandpa's many years of being an example as a quiet, hard working, Christ loving, father/grandfather. Easter was a bit more special this year as we have yet another reason to be thankful that Jesus gave himself so that we can have the hope of life eternal and seeing our loved ones again in heaven.
Many of us had planned to gather at his house for one last Easter together and although he was gone, many of us still gathered and made memories. So thankful for a loving family!
