Trust and Obey

On the way home from church a few Sundays ago, Ali was sitting in the back of the van singing "Trust and Obey" and doing a very good job.

Shortly into the chorus she stops and asks "Is Trustin a boy's name?"

While trying not to smile to hard, I replied, "Well, it can be, but actually, honey, the words are TRUST AND Obey."

"Oh! OK!" And she went right on singing, with the correct words this time! :)

Paul and I got a good chuckle out of it and it did lead to a discussion with Ali of what it meant to trust and obey Jesus!
